1) I (Owner) represent that I am the legal owner of the above named dog(s) and I assume all risks, dangers, and responsibility for injuries to the named dog(s). Owner understands and agrees that Owner is solely responsible for any harm while Owner’s dog(s) is/are attending Daycare / Boarding.

2) BOOKING AND CANCELLATION: bookings are not confirmed until the 50% deposit has been paid, by bank payment please send a proof of payment. Your reservation is final when the 50% deposit has been paid. Without a deposit we cannot guarantee your spot.which is due at the time of submitting the Booking Form. When the down payment is paid, the dog will immediately be registered.
You confirm that you agree that if you cancel your booking for whatever reason, your deposit of 50% is non–refundable. The other 50% has to be paid when bringing the dog.(if stay is not fully paid by check in we have the right to refuse your dog).

4) PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE: We love to post pictures and videos on Facebook, our website, and/or in magazine ads. Owner agrees to allow Dog Hotel Aruba to use Owner’s pet’s name and any images or likeness of Owner’s pet taken while he/she is at Dog Hotel Aruba, in any form, for use at any time, in any media, marketing, advertising, illustration, trade or promotional materials without compensation, and Owner releases to Dog Hotel Aruba all rights that Owner may possess or claim to such image, likeness, recording, etc.at least 5-days prior to check-in date. Pets with expired vaccines will not be accepted.

5) VACCINATION & TICK AND FLEA TREATMENT: All dogs must be up to date with their vaccinations, worming, tick and flea treatments heartgard & nexgard you must provide proof. You must provide the carer with the vaccination booklet at the start of each board at least 5-days prior to check-in date. Pets with expired vaccines will not be accepted..You further agree to deliver your dog in a clean condition If by check in dog has fleas/ticks stay will be directly canceled & dogs must be picked up immediately & there will be an extra fee for all cleaning/pest control cost (indication cost 500,-awg) I verify that my dog is healthy, has the required vaccinations on file, is free of sickness or disease and has not harmed or shown aggression towards people or other dogs. I agree to arrange to have my dog picked up if contagious illness is suspected.

6) ABANDONMENT DOG: Owner understands and agrees that if his or her Dog is not picked up within 10 calendar days after the scheduled pick up date without any notice, the Dog shall be deemed to be abandoned and additional boarding cost charges shall apply, and in such event, Dog Hotel Aruba shall gain legal custody and ownership of the Dog and retain the right to keep the Dog or place the Dog in a shelter or with animal control, with no recourse by Owner against Dog Hotel Aruba. We will inform police by this case.

7) DOG’S HEALTH: Owner further understands and agrees that Owner’s dog(s) are healthy and will at all times while attending Dog Hotel Aruba have current vaccinations. Owner is not enrolling any dog that has any condition that could potentially jeopardize the health of other dogs or people and has not had any potentially communicable condition within 30 days prior to enrollment. Pregnant or dogs in heat are not allowed in the dog hotel.

8) GROUP PLAY: All dogs must pass a general behavior assessment in order to attend dog-dog group play. No dog may
be admitted to group play who shows any signs of any type of aggression. Owner further understands and agrees that in admitting Owner’s dog(s) to dog-dog group play, Owner is representing to Dog Hotel Aruba that Owner’s dog(s) is/are in good health and have not harmed, shown aggression, or exhibited any threatening behavior towards any person or other dogs. Any dog demonstrating aggression or other behavior deemed unacceptable by Dog Hotel Arubastaff may be required to leave daycare/boarding.

9) PERSONAL PROPERTY: Owner understands that Owner is solely responsible for any harm, including to any other pet(s), to the employees or invitees of Dog Hotel Aruba, or to the equipment, facilities, or other property of Dog Hotel Aruba, caused by Owners dog(s). Owner also agrees Dog Hotel Aruba shall not be responsible or liable for any lost or damaged personal property belonging either to Owner or Owner’s pet. We cannot guarantee that toys and dog collars will be kept in the same condition as brought in. For safety reasons, tennis balls and rawhide are NOT permitted. We provide every pet with clean and comfortable bedding and a variety of safe toys. To maintain our high standard of safety and sanitization we cannot accept any pet belongings. We do not allow toys, treats, or bones to be left during nap time or overnight in the suite for safety reasons.

10) IF BRINGING YOUR OWN DOG FOOD: For your pet’s meals, please bring their food pre-portioned in Ziploc bags labeled AM & PM with their name on it. We kindly advise pet parents to not bring anything of sentimental or great value. We are not responsible for any lost, misplaced, or damaged items.

11) TRIAL DAY BEFORE BOARDING: All dogs that are going to be staying overnight must have successfully passed a temperament assessment (daycare day) before their first night of boarding this day cost 30,- AWG and second dog gets 50% discount.

12) CHECK IN & CHECK OUT TIMES: Check in and check out are from Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7:00AM till 10:00PM and 4:00PM till 6:30PM. Wednesday and Saturday 8:00 AM till 10:00 AM Sunday closed holidays 8:00AM till 10:00AM.

13) VISITING MY DOG WHILE ON VACATION: Pet Parent agrees that family members or friends can’t come visit your dog in the hotel while your dog is on vacation in Dog Hotel Aruba. Our professional opinion is that if a dog is visited by someone they know, they tend to think they are going home, which may upset them. From that point, they must start the adjustment process all over again, causing avoidable stress. We strongly recommend not having visits. Your dog can be picked up for walks between our opening times but only make sure that they are aware.

14) MEDICATION: I understand that all medications brought to Dog Hotel Aruba must be in their original prescription bottle with legible prescription labels from my pets Veterinarian. I understand supplements and over the counter medications must also be brought in original packaging. I understand that I cannot pre-pack my pet’s medications or place it in their food because Dog Hotel Aruba will not accept them. I am aware Dog Hotel Aruba staff members administer medications and are not veterinarian technicians. understand there is an administration fee 5,- AWG per medication per pet.

15) ENTERING THE RECEPTION/BUILDING: We are a working facility that accommodates all different kinds of pet personalities when it comes to our furry guests. For the safety of you and your pet, it is mandatory that all pets be on a leash when on our property. Our Dog Hotel staff are constantly walking pets through the reception area throughout the day so please be mindful. If you use a retractable leash or long lead – please keep it locked on the shortest setting with your pet close by your side at all times. If your pet is owner protective, dog aggressive, or needs special handling – please give us a call before entering the facility so we can clear the reception area. We follow certain protocols when it comes to pets who require a more controlled environment. keep your dog always on leash. If another person with a dog is in the reception wait on your turn do not enter because dogs can react different when on leash with their owner. you are responsible to watch your dog and control your dog close by other dogs.

16) RELEASE OF LIABILITY: Owner understands and agrees that during normal dog play, Owner’s dog may sustain injuries. Dog play is monitored by our staff to best avoid injury, but scratches, punctures, torn ligaments, and other injuries may occur despite the best supervision. Owner further understands and agrees that neither daycare/boarding nor any of its employees, staff, or volunteers will be liable for any illness, injury, death, and/or escape of Owner’s dog(s) provided that reasonable care and precautions are followed, and Owner hereby releases Dog Hotel Aruba of any liability of any kind whatsoever arising from or as a result of Owner’s dog(s) attending Dog Hotel Aruba With an injury, accident, illness or fire, we can not be held liable and the owner can not demand compensation.

17) PICK UP BY SOMEONE ELSE: You are also responsible for notifying us if someone else is picking up your dog. Please make sure that they are aware of all applicable policies for pick up. If we are not notified that someone else picks up your dog we will not hand over your dog to them.

18) VIEWING DOG HOTEL ARUBA: Dog Hotel energy is focused on a stress-free and relaxing experience. Tours have a way of upsetting our furry guests (who are our # 1 priority), which is why we limit tours to once a day. From 5:00 PM till 6:00 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday by appointment. We also ask that you please leave your furry babies at home.

19) VETERINARIAN LIABILITY AND CARE: The health and safety of your pet is important to us; therefore, if your pet becomes sick or is injured during their stay, Dog Hotel Aruba will seek Veterinary treatment. All Veterinary costs will be required to be paid by the pet’s owner. we will do everything possible in our power to keep your dog in a healthy condition.
Owner agrees to Dog Hotel Aruba to obtain medical treatment for Owner’s dog(s) if he/she appears ill, injured, or exhibits any other behavior that would reasonably suggest that dog(s) may need medical treatment including anesthesia. Owner agrees to be fully responsible for the cost of any such medical treatment and for the cost of any transportation for the purposes of such treatment. Owner gives permission to Dog Hotel Aruba to use Owner’s vet or nearest 24-hour vet hospital for required treatment.

20) ELDERLY DOGS: Owners of elderly dogs (approaching the end of life) need to know if in the event Owner’s dog passes on while in our care, our policy is to transport Owner’s dog to Owner’s vet where he/she will be held until Owner can be reached by the Vet for further instructions. If Owner’s vet is closed or then we will transport to the nearest 24-hour facility. Trip charge will apply based on time/distance.

21) CLOSING TIME: Owner agrees that if Owner’s dog(s) is/are not picked up by closing time , then Owner hereby authorizes overnight boarding appropriate for dog(s) and to pay Dog Hotel Aruba for applicable overnight boarding charge.

22) RIGHT OF REFUSAL: Dog Hotel Aruba reserves the right to refuse admittance to any dog or dismiss any dog that does not meet or maintain the health, temperament or other daycare/boarding standards. The determination shall be made at the sole discretion of Dog Hotel Aruba All animals will be checked upon arrival for signs of illness, injury, parasites or pregnancy. We reserve the right to refuse to board any animal which we believe is not in good health or is showing signs of pregnancy, as this is not the proper place for them.

23) WEAKENED IMMUNE SYSTEM: Owner understands special-needs dogs, young puppies, and senior dogs naturally have a higher risk of injury, stress-related illnesses, weakened immune system, or exacerbation of any pre-existing condition. As such, by using our facility for daycare or boarding the Owner is waiving any claim for injury or illness experienced by Owner’s dog while in our care.

24) TOUR TROUGH THE FACILITY : Dog Hotel energy is focused on a stress-free and relaxing experience. Tours have a way of upsetting our furry guests (who are our # 1 priority), which is why we limit tours to once a day. From 5:00 PM till 6:00 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday by appointment. We also ask that you please leave your furry babies at home.

25) FULL FORCE AND EFFECT: Owner further understands and expressly agrees that each and every of the foregoing provisions contained in paragraphs 1-25 shall be in force and effect and shall apply to each and every occasion on which Owner’s dog(s) stays with Dog Hotel Aruba for daycare, extended boarding, or other services, as the case may be. This Agreement shall remain in full force and effect as between the parties until and unless otherwise canceled or superseded by a writing signed by the parties.
